Our Story…
Back in November of 1993, the first A Sewing Sensation opened its doors in North West Calgary. We soon opened a second location, and our South Store had a major expansion in 2000, making room for even more fabric and classes. From the beginning, our stores have been locally owned and operated by those who love sewing themselves, so we understand the care and passion behind each of our customers needs. In 2023 we celebrated 30 years of business, and we thank all of our customers for making this milestone possible! We are proud to continue to offer the best products and services to all the sewers, quilters, and creators in the Calgary Area and beyond. We look forward to the next 30 years together!

Our Sales Staff
At A Sewing Sensation, we are here to help you find the perfect sewing machine for your budget, interests, and needs. Our experienced staff are industry trained experts! Unlike a cold, online purchase, when you come to our store, we can equip you with the knowledge and confidence you need and support you along the way. After you purchase your machine, we offer free one on one lessons to help you learn the ropes on your new machine! Just book a lesson in advance with your sales associate.

Our Service Technicians
We have 3 full time factory trained service technicians in house with a combined 60 years experience. They are fully trained on all brands including Husqvarna Viking, Pfaff, Bernina, Janome, Babylock, Elna, Singer, Kenmore and Brother. Bring your machine to either location and we will take care of the rest!
